The Breds close out a five-game homestand as they welcome UT Martin to Reagan Field for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series March 15-17. The series gets underway Friday at 3 p.m., and continues with a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

The Breds hold a 60-28 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 1981. MSU is 34-14 in games played in Murray, including winning eight-straight series. The Breds also won eight of the last nine games played at Reagan Field, including a 7-0 shutout in the finale in 2012.

Cameron Wallace was nearly perfect as he had his most effective outing as a Bred. Wallace allowed just one base runner (throwing error) over his four innings of work. He fanned three and needed only 49 pitches in his longest career outing.
Maerz Fans 7
Cody Maerz was dominant against Northern Illinois. The freshman struck out seven and allowed only one hit in five innings of work. He ended his outing by striking out the side.
Paradossi Goes Oppo
Nick Paradossi hit his first career home run when he went opposite field against Northern Illinois.
Bramley Deals in 1st Start
Freshman Andrew Bramley allowed just one run on four hits and four strikeouts over seven innings in his first career start. He game up all four hits (2 infield singles) and the run in the first inning. He only allowed three base runners over the final six innings in the no decision.

The Breds hit the road for a midweek game at Evansville on March 19. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
