STORY LINES
The Racers open their 2013 home season as they welcome Campbellsville to The Track for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
The Racers will honor their 22 seniors prior to the kickoff. Honorees include Corey Addison, Jaamal Berry, Harris Bivin, Jeremy Brackett, Duane Brady, Josh Brown, Casey Duncan, Hunter Hogan, Qua Huzzie, Josh Manning, Steven Mix, Jordan Morrow, Ayo Ojolola, Walter Powell, Zac Ross, Blake Salter, Darrian Skinner, Sam Small, Darrell Smith, John Therrell, Brandon Wicks and Darian Yahyavi.
Murray State is looking to avoid an 0-2 start for the first time since the 2010 season.
The Racers and Tigers will be meeting for the first time on the gridiron. MSU kicker Jordan Benton began his career at CU, averaging 51.1 yards on 43 kickoffs in 2010.
Quarterback Maikhail Miller threw a touchdown and caught another in the first quarter against Missouri. He is the first quarterback to accomplish both in same game since Casey Brockman against Southeast Missouri in the 2011 season finale.

Saturday marks the 2013 home opener for the Racers. MSU is 58-27-4 in home openers, including victories in 14 of the last 17 home openers.
Non D-1 Games
The Racers are playing their first non-Division I opponent since opening the 2009 season with a 66-10 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan.
Looking Grey
Saturday's home opener will mark the first time the Racers will wear grey pants. The jerseys will feature grey on the sleeves, as well as grey numbers outlined in gold.
Benton's Ties to Campbellsville
Murray State junior kicker Jordan Benton began his career at Campbellsville in 2010. He averaged 51.1 yards on 43 kickoff attempts, while missing his only field-goal attempt.
Season Opening Drive TD
Murray State scored on its opening drive of the 2013 season by putting together a six-play drive that resulted in a Maikhail Miller touchdown pass to Walter Powell. It marked the first time the Racers have scored a touchdown on their season-opening drive since the 1995 season opener against Western Kentucky.
Sportscenter Top 10
Maikhail Miller's five-yard touchdown reception from Jeremy Harness got national attention as the player was #8 on the Sportscenter Top 10.
Two TDs vs. FBS
Saturday's game against Missouri marked the first time since 2004 that the Racers scored a pair of touchdowns against an FBS opponent. MSU had not scored more than one touchdown in its previous 10 games against FBS competition.
Miller Pitch and Catch
Sophomore Maikhail Miller did a little bit of everything in the season opener, including throwing and catching a touchdown in the first quarter. Miller led the Racers on a touchdown on their opening drive, capping in with a 17-yard touchdown pass to Walter Powell. Later in the quarter, Miller caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Jeremy Harness. Miller became first player to throw and catch a touchdown pass in same game since Casey Brockman against SEMO in the 2011 finale.
Harness Now 2-for-2
Sophomore Jeremy Harness improved his career passing numbers to 2-for-2 for 16 yards and a touchdown with his five-yard touchdown pass to Maikhail Miller. Harness hit Casey Brockman on an 11-yard pass against Central Arkansas in 2012.
Taylor Forces Fumble
Junior Travis Taylor made an immediate impact in his Racer debut as he forced a fumble on the opening drive of the season. The fumble was recovered by Darrian Skinner and led to a touchdown.
Dean Blocks Extra Point
Sophomore Zach Dean blocked his first career extra point as he blocked the Tigers second extra point of the first quarter.
Rice Has Big Day in Return Home
Sophomore Paul Rice had a career day in his return to the Show Me state. Rice led the Racers with five catches for 63 yards, including a 34-yard reception on his first catch of the season.
