Ingram Earns Second Straight OVC Honor

For the second straight week, Scottie Ingram has earned the Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
During the weekend, the Racers defeated both opponents in grueling four set matches. They defeated Eastern Illinois 3-1 and then SIU Edwardsville 3-1.
Ingram recorded double-doubles in both matches. Against Eastern Illinois, she turned in 20 kills and 12 digs, along with 2 blocks. When playing SIU Edwardsville, she added 17 kills and 14 digs. She hit .462 against Eastern Illinois, while only recording two errors. Her two service aces and three blocks against the Cougars tie her season high. She averaged 4.62 kills and 5.19 points per set.
Murray State will return to the court on Friday at 6 p.m. against Belmont.Â
