Dancing Into The Season At Racer Mania

The band played, the cheerleaders cheered and the dance team danced.....it must be basketball season!

Thursday night at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky, the Murray State Racer basketball season got a rousing start at Racer Mania.

Both the women's and men's teams were introduced to an enthusiastic crowd and both teams had the chance to show off their skills in a short scrimmage.

But there was much more to this event.

The Racer Basketball teams even did their own dance number.

The evening was full of fun.

At the end each team posed for photos and signed autographs as the schedule posters were offered to the fans.

The season is just around the corner as the men's team plays an exhibition game at the CFSB Center (Nov. 6) against Freed-Hardeman at 7 p.m.. The regular season opener is a double-header (Nov. 14) when the women's team hosts Ohio at 5 p.m. and the men's team takes on Houston at 7 p.m.
