Point guard started 55 career games for George Washington over last two seasons
Murray State men's basketball has signed Christian Jones, an explosive, 6-foot-4 point guard who played the last two seasons at George Washington in the Atlantic 10.
The Stratford, Connecticut, native appeared in 68 total games for the Revolutionaries, notching 55 starts, and averaged 9.4 points, 2.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds across those games.
"Christian brings in a wealth of high-level playing experience from his time in the A-10 and will have an immediate impact on our roster," head coach Ryan Miller said. "He is an elite passer with excellent vision who will allow our offense to flow freely up the court and has incredible length with an 80-inch wingspan. We are excited to welcome Christian to the Racer Family."
During his redshirt sophomore season, he averaged 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 45.4 percent overall, 36.4% from beyond the arc, all while starting in every game for George Washington. In an appearance against the Racers, he went 6-of-9 from the floor for 14 points in the Cayman Islands Classic.
Jones played his first season for GW in 2024-25, where he bagged Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team honors. That season, he produced 8.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and team-best 2.6 assists in 34 total games.
