Stultz Performs Veteran's Day Anthem

Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 was Veteran's Day in our nation and on this special day, Murray State Volleyball student-athlete Hannah Stultz simply played her violin.
Everyone who heard her play was touched.
Stultz, a sophomore from Happy Valley, Ore., grew up learning the violin and Tuesday night she played our National Anthem before the Racers took on Austin Peay in the final regular season game of the season at Racer Arena in Murray, Ky.
"I started playing in the second grade when I was seven," Stultz told OVCExtra Correspondent Halle Pinkham. "I actually quit orchestra after my freshman year at high school, but I still pick it up and play."
Tuesday's performance was Hannah's first time to play the National Anthem in front of a crowd before a game. She said she was a little nervous, but all we saw was a tremendous performance played from the heart.
Stultz's teammate Ellie Lorenz helped out while holding the music sheets during the performance.
The Racers have clinched the Ohio Valley Conference regular season championship and will host the OVC Tournament at Racer Arena (Nov. 20-22).
