Bedard Receives OVC Setter of the Week Honors

After a one week hiatus from winning the award, Murray State's Sam Bedard has once again been named the ADIDAS OVC Setter of the Week. It marks the fifth time this season that Bedard has won the honor.
Bedard averaged an OVC-best 12.8 assists per set last week in the Racers' three sweeps over Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois and SIU Edwardsville. In MSU's wins over the Governors and Panthers, Bedard averaged 45 and 44 assists, respectively. Bedard facilitated an offense that hit .280 for the week, while also averaging 3.50 digs per set and recording a pair of double-doubles. Bedard also led the team with four service aces.
Bedard and the rest of the Racers return home this weekend as Belmont and Tennessee State come to town Friday and Saturday, respectively.
