Bedard Wins OVC Setter of the Week

Murray State's Sam Bedard took home her sixth ADIDAS OVC Setter of the Week honor of the season Monday, announced by the league office.
Bedard averaged a league-leading 13.5 assists per set in the Racers' two victories over the weekend against UT Martin and Southeast Missouri. Bedard recorded her 17th double-double of the season in the win over the Skyhawks with 54 assists and 11 digs. Against SEMO, she added 41 assists. Bedard added three service aces over the weekend and also had five kills in each victory.
Bedard and the rest of the OVC-Champion Racers travel to Austin Peay Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match, looking to their second consecutive outright regular season title.
