Racers Take Down Western Kentucky

Murray State women's tennis team defeated Western Kentucky 5-2 Saturday at Kenlake State Park in Aurora, Kentucky. The Racers improved to 5-2 on the season after their second loss came last weekend against Memphis.
Murray State is looking to fight their way back into the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
Western Kentucky took the first point of the match by winning doubles, and got the first point of the singles matches, but MSU took the next five to take the victory.
"It was a tough one because we went down 2-0 and lost the first set in two other matches" said head coach Jorge Caetano, "however, our team never quits and starting putting some good points together and got some momentum going. Our girls came back and pulled through big time."
Murray State needs to keep their momentum going on the weekend as they face Southern Illinois tomorrow at Kenlake State Park at 2 p.m.
