Â
"It was another tough match today" said head coach Jorge Caetano, "they [Southern Illinois] have a great team and it is the first time we beat them since 2009 so I am very proud of the girls."
Â
When asked about losing the first point, Caetano said, "losing the double points always makes things tougher but these girls every match that they can overcome any kind of adversity. We know they are very good in double so we didn't freak out after losing that doubles points. The girls came out even stronger and just took care of business on their court in singles."
Â
Looking forward to conference play Caetano said, "We just have to keep working on staying healthy and also we will work a lot on doubles because in conference the doubles point makes a big difference."
