Tamdra Lawrence Wins First OVC Weekly Honors

Murray State's Tamdra Lawrence took home the first adidas® OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week honor of the season Wednesday, as announced by the league office.

At the Vanderbilt Indoor Opener, the freshman took third in the 60 meters. Lawrence's time of 7.60 ranks first in the OVC and second all-time at Murray State. She also took second in the 200 meter dash. Her time of 24.90 leads the league and ranks fifth in school history.

Murray State track and field will be back in action on Friday as they compete at the Vanderbilt Commodore Invite in Nashville, Tenn.
