MSU Honored by USTFCCCA for Academic Achievements

The Murray State men's and women's cross country teams each earned All-Academic team status for the 2015 cross country season from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) the organization announced Friday.
The USTFCCCA honored 171 men's teams and 205 women's teams national wide at the Division I level. Teams must have a cumulative 3.00 GPA or greater to qualify for the achievement.
Five men's teams and seven women's teams from the Ohio Valley Conference earned All-Academic team status. The MSU men's team had the second highest cumulative GPA in the OVC with the total being 3.5148. The women's team had the third highest GPA in the OVC with the total being 3.4853. This is the second straight year both Racer teams have won this award.
