Racers Victorious in Nashville

The Murray State women's tennis team won their third straight match on Friday as they defeated Lipscomb 4-3.
The Racers came out to what would be a crucial lead early. In the doubles matches, Partners Erin Patton and Haily Morgan won their match at the No. 1 doubles 6-3. Partners Megan Blue and Amina Hadzic dropped their match at the No. 2 doubles 6-3. The point came down the the No. 3 doubles. Jeanne Masson and Alina Schibol won a close match (7-5) to give MSU the early 1-0 lead.
In the singles matches, Blue won her match at the No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-1. Hadzic beat her opponent at the No. 2 singles in three sets as she won 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (4). Schibol would have the last singles victory for the Racers as she came from behind to win the No. 6 singles 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
The Racers had a quick turn around as they take on Wright State in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday Matches are set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
