Racers Win at Arkansas State

The Murray State women's tennis team was victorious on Sunday as they defeated Arkansas State 4-1.
The Racers came out and earned the lead early. Partners Amina Hadzic/Megan Blue and Jeanne Masson/Alina Schibol defeated their opponents to give MSU the doubles point and the 1-0 lead.
In the singles matches, Schibol was the first to get a win over ASU as she won at the No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-2. Freshmen Haily Morgan and Hadzic also played well. Hadzic defeated her opponent at the No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-3. Morgan won her match at the No. 3 singles 6-1,6-2. Her match clinched the victory for the Racers.
The Racers face Lipscomb on Friday in Nashville, Tenn. Match time is set for 2 p.m. On Saturday, MSU returns home for their first match this season at Bennie Purcell Courts as they take on Wright State at 4:30 p.m.
