Volleyball Signee Named to JVA All-National Team

Murray State volleyball signee Rachel Giustino has been named to the Junior Volleyball Associations' All-National Team as one of the top 20 club volleyball players in the country that graduated in 2016.
Giustino, who played her club volleyball with Sky High 18 Black, helped lead Marian Central Catholic High School to a state title in 2015. Giustino was a two-time unanimous All-East Suburban Catholic Conference selection and was also a two-time all-area team honoree during her high school career. For her career, Giustino had 856 kills (school record), 605 digs, 170 total blocks and 60 service aces.
Giustino helped lead the Hurricanes to four straight regional titles, three sectional championships and in 2015, led Marian Central to a super-sectional championship, while recording a school record 339 kills in her senior season.
This award recognizes the top JVA players in the nation for outstanding achievement on the volleyball court. The All-National team was selected by the JVA Awards Committee to represent the Class of 2016. Â Awardees will be presented with a medal at the JVA mid-year meeting on June 23rd during the AAU National Championships in Orlando, Fla.
Giustino and fellow 2016 signees, Alex Kaufmann, Megan Lindsay and Courtney Radle will join the back-to-back defending OVC Champions this fall at MSU.
