Stultz Named ADIDAS OVC Setter of the Week

Murray State senior setter Hannah Stultz has been named this week's ADIDAS OVC Setter of the Week, announced Monday by the league office, as voted on by the conference's SIDs.
This is the first career setter of the week honor for Stultz after she averaged 14.2 assists per set last week in the Racers' two sweeps to begin OVC play against UT Martin and Southeast Missouri. In the win over the Skyhawks, Stultz recorded a career-high 51 assists (17 per set) and engineered an offense that hit a season-high .415 as a team. Stultz followed that with 34 digs in the win over SEMO and also added nine digs, four kills and a team-high two service aces.
MSU hit .285 as a team for the week and extended its program record regular season home winning streak to 17 matches.
Stultz and the rest of the Racers return to action Tuesday as they host Austin Peay at Racer Arena in a 7 p.m. match.
