Lollar Adds McGrath For 2018-19

Head coach Alan Lollar is pleased to announce to signing of Kelcy McGrath of Granbury, Texas to the Murray State rifle team for the 2018-2019 season.
"We are extremely happy to welcome Kelcy to the Racer Family," said Lollar. "Kelcy's work ethic and enthusiasm will make her a good fit for our program. She is a talented shooter with a lot of potential and I think she will have an exciting career at Murray State."
McGrath won the 2016 Alaska State Three-Position Air Rifle Junior Olympic Championship. In 2017, as a member of the Enterprise (Ala.) High School team, she finished third in the day one precision final of the 2017 National JROTC Championships en route to a sixth place overall finish. Also at the competition, she earned her Distinguished Shooter badge from the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
The Show Low, Arizona native has also achieved on the national stage, vaulting from 43rd in the 10m air rifle at the 2016 National Junior Olympic Championship to 22nd at the 2017 event. This past summer, the 2017 USA Shooting National Championships she finished 36th in the all-age open division and 26th in the junior division.
