Racers Fall To Central Arkansas

On a doubleheader day at KenLake Tennis Center, the Murray State women's tennis squad dropped the first match of the 4-2 to the Central Arkansas Bears.

The match began with the Racers securing the doubles point when the teams of Claire Chang and Alina Schibol won 6-3 and Anja Loncarevic and Amina Hadzic won 6-2.

In the six singles matches, the Racers won four total sets but couldn't close the match out. The Loncarevic sisters, Anja and Sara, battled but lost matches in three sets.
Amina Hadzic won her match 6-2, 6-2 over UCA's Amiru Shimoguchi.

The Racers are back in action Sunday evening at 5 p.m. against the Southern Illinois Salukis.
