Racer Cheerleaders Host Tryouts on April 29-30

The Murray State Cheerleading team will host tryouts on April 30th and have a clinic on April 29th.

The clinic on Saturday (April 29), will begin at 8:30AM and conclude at 6:00PM in Racer Arena. The day will include clinic for all, followed by a fitness test in Roy Stewart Stadium and another workshop to review materials and have interviews done.

The fitness test will include push-ups, pull-ups, wall-sits, planks, and a 1-mile run for time. These will be overseen by Coach James at the football stadium and weight room.

Cheerleader tryouts will being at 1:00 PM on Sunday (April 30) following a clinic. After tryouts, those who have made the squad will be required to attend a meeting with their new teammates and have a uniform fitting.

All spectators are welcome to attend the actual tryout on Sunday from 11:30-4:30 for $5.
