Huber, Sloan Shoot Well At Junior Olympics

Shelby Huber and Eric Sloan of the Murray State rifle team recently had strong showings at the 2017 National Junior Olympic Championship in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Huber's strongest performance of the event came in the 10-meter air rifle where he finished just outside the final in 10th. Â The sophomore also finished 13th in the 50-meter three position and 48th in the 50-meter prone.
For Sloan, his best finish was in the 50-meter prone at 25th. He also finished 29th in the 50-meter three position air rifle and 55th in the 10-meter air rifle. Both Racers finished in the upper half of the 10-meter air rifle and the 50-meter three position, which was especially impressive in the 10-meter given the 177 shooter field.
