The Murray state women's golf team hits the road for the Fred Marx Invitational (Oct. 16-17) at Bayou Desiard Country Club in Monroe, Louisiana.

The Racers are the defending champions after they won the 2017 title on scores of 303-305-306=914. Linette Holmslykke, the Ohio Valley Conference September Golfer of the Month on two great events this fall, returns to the place where she placed runner-up a year ago on scores of 77-75-75=227.

Murray State's lineup includes: Linette Holmslykke, Sarah McDowell, Jane Watts, Lucila Puente Rodriquez de Austria and Raeysha Surendran. Anna Moore will play the event as an individual.

The Racers are coming off a win at the APSU Intercollegiate (Oct. 2) where they had scores of 299-304-290=893 and Holmslykke posted a medalist title on scores of 72-75-71=218.
