Lapua/SK Spotlight Performance: Dana Buesseler

Sophomore Dana Buesseler has been selected as the Lapua/SK Spotlight Performance for the month of November.
The Minnesota native was the model of consistency last month shooting a 578 in smallbore in four of her five matches and a 576 in the lone outlier. In air rifle, Buesseler shot between a 582 and a 586 in all five matches. Her aggregate average for the month of November was 1161.0, an improvement of 3.2 points over her average from October.
"I am really proud of Dana's consistency over the past month, especially in smallbore," said head coach Alan Lollar. "Being consistent at that level gives her a real chance to break out and do some special things very soon."
Buesseler and the rest of the Racers are currently on a break for the Holidays, but will return to action January 19 in a shoulder-to-shoulder match at Jacksonville State.
