Murray State rifle head coach Alan Lollar has announced the signing two additional student–athletes for his 2020-21 class; Allison Henry of Granbury, Texas and Scott Patterson of Fairfax Station, Virginia.
"I am so excited to add Allison and Scott to this already great class for next season," said head coach Alan Lollar. " These two add depth to an already deep team and we can't wait to get them on campus to see what we can all achieve together."
Henry comes to Murray State via Granbury, Texas and the renowned Granbury Marine Corps JROTC unit. Henry helped lead Granbury to the 2018 Orion League precision national championship and was named as MVP of the championship tournament. In addition, she is a two-time Junior Olympic qualifier in both air rifle and 3-position and a 2018 American Legion Texas state individual and team champion.
Patterson, a native of Fairfax Station, Virginia is a Junior Olympic qualifier and a two-time recipient of the Virginia Governor's Commonwealth Twenty Tab for marksmanship. Patterson recently took first place at the 2019 Virginia American Legion northern region championships. In addition, he helped lead teams to air rifle and 4-position smallbore national championships in 2018.
