Chang Garners All-OVC Honor

Junior Claire Chang represented Murray State Women's tennis with all-conference honors, receiving a spot on the 2019 All-OVC second team at the Ohio Valley Conference tennis banquet in Nashville, Tenn., Thursday evening.
Attaining all-conference recognition for the third-straight season, Chang posted a 10-8 overall record in dual matches, with a 5-3 mark in OVC singles competition in a mix of No. 1 and No. 2 positions for the Racers.
"There are a lot of good players in our conference this year, so I am happy for Claire that she was able to get this all-conference award even though she was playing through some injuries the whole season," said MSU head coach Jorge Caetano.

"The most important thing is that she is in her best shape now, and I am confident she will do great things for us in the OVC tournament."

Murray State will play their next match in the first round of the OVC tournament, taking on the Skyhawks of UT Martin at Hadley Park in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
