As a former student-athlete with MSU men's tennis, Coach Caetano earned his undergrad and master's degree from Murray State in engineering technology and he also won 64 matches in his tennis career with the Racers.
The 2020-21 school year is the seventh season for Jorge Caetano as head coach of the Murray State women's tennis program. His teams have won 69 matches in his first six seasons.
As a first-year coach In 2015, Caetano led the Racers to the Ohio Valley Conference regular season and tournament championship - earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament. They finished with a 17-4 overall record, 9-1 in the OVC, and unbeaten at home at 11-0.
The Racers are 38-10 at home at Bennie Purcell Courts in the Coach Caetano era.
