Bradley will also handle recruiting for baseball
Murray State Head Baseball Coach, Dan Skirka, is excited to announce the addition of Charles Bradley as the assistant coach to his staff.
"Coach Bradley brings so much to the table for our Racer baseball family. But, the thing that separated him was his work ethic, energy and passion. In his short time here, his impact has been felt on the practice field by our current players and the recruiting trail for future Racers," said Skirka. "We are very excited that he is with us and helping us pursue our goals."
Charles Bradley joins the Racers as an assistant coach and comes to Murray State after serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Queens University of Charlotte.
Bradley spent one year as an assistant coach at Ouachita Baptist University, where he was responsible for Junior College recruiting and instructed team defense and base running development.
Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Bradley was also an assistant baseball coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University from 2012-2015.
In addition, he spent two years in the Mount Collegiate Baseball League as the Head Coach for the Loveland Blue Jays in 2012 and the Fort Collins Foxes in 2013, where he led the Foxes to a runner-up finish in the MCBL Championship Game.
Bradley has also served as the Head Coach of the Gastonia Grizzlies, a summer league team that competes in the Coastal Plains League, where he led the team to a CPL Championship in 2017 and a First Half Western Division Championship in 2019.
Prior to coaching, Bradley played shortstop for Harding University, winning the Gulf South Conference West Division in 2011. The team set the school record for wins in a season (42) and earned Harding University its first NCAA Regional appearance in school history.
