The Murray State women's basketball team led for nearly all 40 minutes of Saturday's game against SIUE, as it cruised to its third-straight win, 74-60, at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky.

The Racers never trailed in the contest and the only time they did not hold the lead was the 35 seconds between the opening tip and their first basket. Solid shooting was key to the win Saturday, as Murray State shot 40.3-percent from floor in the game and went 8-for-25 from 3-point range. The Racers also outrebounded the Cougars by nine in the game, 42-33, including an impressive 17 offensive rebounds compared to just nine by SIUE.

Macey Turley led the Racers Saturday with a scorching hot 10-for-15 shooting performance, including 4-for-6 from three, for a game-high 29 points. Alexis Burpo was also clutch for MSU in the contest, as she notched her third consecutive double-double and fourth of the season with 11 points and a career-high 15 rebounds. Lex Mayes was next in line for Murray State with 14 points, while Macie Gibson rounded out the four Racers in double-figures with 12.

On Thursday, the Racers will make a rare pre-noon appearance as they travel to Belmont to take on the Bruins at 11 a.m. on ESPN+.
