Austin Peay outscored the Murray State women's basketball team, 48-25, in the second half of Saturday's game at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky to had the Racers an 88-59 loss in their regular season finale.

The Racers went cold in the second half, shooting just 32.1-percent from the floor, including 16.7 in the fourth quarter, and 0-for-8 from 3-point range. Murray State also had trouble at the charity stripe in the second half, going 9-for-15 after turning in a 6-for-7 performance in the first half.

Lex Mayes led MSU on the evening with 18 points, while Laci Hawthorne added nine and pulled down a game-high 16 rebounds. G'Torria Swinton was the only other Racer to score in double-digits on the night, scoring a career-high 11 points while almost notching a double-double with nine boards as well.

The Racers now turn their attention to the postseason, as they will open the 2020 OVC Women's Basketball Championship at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana Wednesday at 1 p.m. against top-seeded UT Martin.
