Murray State head volleyball coach David Schwepker announced the signing of Dahlia Miller, Friday, bringing the signing class of 2020 to six student-athletes.
Miller is a defensive specialist/libero from Pearland, Texas and joins Alyse Cundiff, Morgan Price, Taylor Beasley, Darci Metzger, and Jayla Holcombe in the biggest signing class the Racers have had since 2017.
"I am so glad that Dahlia has decided to choose Murray State as her home for the next four years!" said Schwepker. "What makes her stand out from other liberos is her high level of athletic ability and lightning quick reflexes that gives her a range that other liberos just don't have. I can't wait to see her growth in our system over the next four years!"
Playing for Glenda Dawson High School, Miller helped the Eagles to two district titles while being named First Team All-District in 2019. She was also to the 2019 Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) Legacy All-Star Team and the 2019 Under Armour All-American Watchlist.
She also excels in the classroom as she was a three-time Academic All-District selection, a TGCA Academic All-State selection in 2019, and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Miller was also a member of the band, playing the flute.
