Coach Lollar has a 30-year history with MSU Athletics that includes many years as head athletic trainer, before he became the head coach of Racer Rifle in the fall of 2007.He was the 2019 Distinguished College Coach Award winner and CRCA National Coach of the Year in 2016. Lollar has been honored seven times as Ohio Valley Conference Coach of the Year.
In his 13th season with the Racers, Lollar's teams have won six OVC championships (2010-11, 2016-19) and appeared in the NCAA Championship nine times (2007, 2010-11, 2015-20).
Success comes with great student-athletes and Lollar has proven to be an outstanding recruiter by bringing some of the world's top shooters to Murray, Kentucky. He has coached 89 All-OVC selections, 11 OVC Rifle Athletes of the Year and 24 All-Americans
