Racers Travel to Nashville for Bout with Belmont

Murray State Women's Soccer will hit the road on Thursday (OCT. 7) for another OVC matchup at 6:30 pm against Belmont at Rose Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The Racers hope to improve upon their 1-1 OVC record when they take on the Bruins in the matchup.

The match will be the 14^th all-time between the schools with Murray State leading the series 7-6, winning the last match 3-1 at Cutchin Field in March of this year. Murray State looks to bounce back after falling to Eastern Illinois 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Lauren Payne leads the Racers in scoring with four goals and nine points on the season with Morgan Bodker following closely behind with two goals and four assists on the year.

Scouting Report

For Belmont, Leah Firsdon and Loren House lead the Bruins each with four points on the season. Sarah Doyle and Andrea Leitner have split time at Goalkeeper for the Bruins. Doyle comes into the match with 32 saves on the year and Leitner has collected 19 saves.
