The Racers will travel to Louisville, Kentucky to participate in the Kentucky Indoor Collegiate

The Murray State men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Kentucky Indoor Collegiate on Saturday, February 20 at the Norton Health Care Sports and Learning Center in Louisville, Ky.

RACE ASSIGNMENTS
Both Racer teams will be competing in the 5K. The women will run at 2:45 p.m. (ET) while the men's race will take place at approximately 3:10 p.m. (ET).

LAST TIME OUT
Murray State hosted the 2021 MSU Open two weeks ago at the Miller Memorial Golf Course. The Racer women finished second overall with the men taking fifth.

Dani Wright was the top finisher for the second time this season, placing third overall. Emma Creviston ran with Wright for the entire race, crossing just seconds after Wright for sixth place.

Kristin Dent edged out Jessica Stein for 13^th place, while Stein took home 16^th overall and Ashley Zimmerman rounded out the top five.

On the men's side, Caleb Kawasaki came from behind to beat out Ben Hall for the top Racer finisher.

Jorge Ruiz, making his Racer debut, was the third Racer to finish. Closely following him was Ryan Dent and Nathan Quinn who rounded out the top five.

UP NEXT
The Racers will compete at the 2020-21 OVC Cross Country Championships will be held on March 1, 2021 in Clarksville, Tenn. It will mark the first time that Austin Peay has hosted the event since 2006.
