Racer Baseball Announces Fall Schedule

MLB Scout Day, Three Opponents Scheduled in October
The Murray State baseball team announced their fall 2021 schedule on Thursday.
The fall slate includes a Major League Baseball scout day on Oct. 13 for Racer players to receive direct exposure to professional scouting at Johnny Reagan Field.
Murray State will host three opponents during the fall beginning with a double-header against Blue Mountain College on Oct. 16 at 1 pm. The Racers will then host BTL Ontario on Oct. 17 at 1 pm for a single nine-inning game.
The Racers will host Trevecca Nazarene University on Oct. 22 at 4 pm for a doubleheader to finish their schedule with outside competition.
To conclude the fall, the Racers will play a three-game Navy vs. Gold World Series from Oct. 28-30.
"I'm really excited about our fall schedule. With Covid-19 protocols we were not allowed to have scout day or play outside competition last year, both of those are important for our program." Coach Dan Skirka said, "We have guys that the scouts need to see and playing outside competition is always a good way to gauge where we are at and exposes things we need to work on."
Admission to all games at Johnny Reagan Field are free and all fans are encouraged to come out and support.
