Racers Prepare for Bout with Cincinnati

Murray State Women's Soccer hosts the University of Cincinnati Bearcats at 1 pm on Sunday (Sep. 26) at Cutchin Field in Murray, Kentucky. This will be the first ever matchup between the Racers and Bearcats and will be the last nonconference game for Murray State this season. The Racers will look to continue their home success starting their season 3-0 in games at Cutchin Field.

Murray State had two players win OVC Weekly Awards for this week with Rebeeca Kubin winning Offensive Player of the Week and Morgan Bodker winning Defender of the Week.

Abby Jones continues to lead the Racers in points this season after picking up an assist against Southern Illinois to take her season total to eight. Bodker follows closely behind with seven points on the season.

Scouting Report

The Bearcats are led offensively by senior Vanessa DiNardo with five goals on the year. Defender Karli Royer has netted three goals on the season to lead the Cincinnati defense. In the net, Anna Rexford leads the Bearcats with 28 saves on the season.

What to Watch for
Rebecca Kubin recorded her 27^th career goal against SIU to draw her to just two goals shy of fourth place all time in the Murray State record book.
