Racers Face Strong Test at Indiana University

After an impressive week in Florida, Murray State Women's Soccer travels to Indiana University for a match against the Hoosiers on Thursday (Sept. 9) at 7 PM at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana.

Sophomore Defender Audrey Henry and Junior Goalkeeper Jenna Villacres are coming off a week in which they were named OVC Defender and Goalkeeper of the Week. Both were key parts of a Racer defense that allowed just one goal in 185 minutes over two matches last week.

Lauren Payne will look to continue her hot streak, scoring a goal in three of the Racers last four matches, including a 95^th minute golden goal to secure the win over Florida Atlantic. Symone Cooper, Abby Jones, and Payne are all tied for the team lead for goals, each scoring three goals in Murray State's five matches.

Scouting Report
The Hoosiers currently sit at 4-1-1 on the season, winning 6-0 most recently against fellow OVC members Southeast Missouri. Indiana's lone loss came at the hands of #15 Memphis.

Freshman Jordan Levy paces the Hoosiers goal scoring on the season with three goals. Sophomore Jen Blitchok has been a significant contributor as well with two goals and two assists on the year.
