Racer Athletics Announces 2022-23 SAAC Members

This year's committee is a compilation of 34 student-athletes across all 15 sports teams
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is composed of leaders from each team who represent their fellow student-athletes and act as liaisons to Murray State University, the Athletic Department, the Missouri Valley Conference and the NCAA. Through SAAC, valuable opportunities are provided for all student-athletes to grow through personal development and leadership development, while improving the overall student-athlete experience for now and the future.
Goals of SAAC

Promote communication between athletics administration and student-athletes

Generate a student-athlete voice within the campus athletic departmentÂ

Build a sense of community within the athletics program involving all athletic teams

Organize community service efforts

Promote a positive student-athlete image on campus
- Solicit student-athlete responses to proposed conference and NCAA legislation
