New elevated social space will enhance gameday experience for all fans inside the home of Racer Basketball
Murray State Athletics has announced the creation of Pocket's Paddock, a new elevated social space inside the CFSB Center that will elevate the game day experience for all Racer fans while generating additional revenue to support the department's bold vision for the future.
Â
The newest social activation announced by Racer Athletics, Pocket's Paddock will provide fans with unique vantage points of the game while being able to purchase exclusive concessions offerings throughout the year at the adjacent C-Store.
Â
"We continue to look for innovative ways to elevate the game-day atmosphere while investing in the future of Murray State Athletics," Vice President & Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said. "Pocket's Paddock is a gathering place for Racer Nation and another step in creating one of the best basketball environments in the country. This new space will enhance the fan experience, strengthen relationships with our supporters and corporate partners, and generate critical resources that allow us to continue investing in our student-athletes, facilities and championship aspirations."
Â
Located adjacent to Gate D, all fans will have the ability to utilize this elevated social space while enjoying the game while being able to purchase traditional gameday fare and special offerings made with legendary Sammons products at the Gate D concessions stand.
Â
The new C-Store concept will give fans grab-and-go access to additional beverage options such as energy drinks, teas, and soft drinks, while being able to purchase bottomless popcorn.
Â
"Pocket's couldn't be more thrilled to see Pocket's Paddock come to life inside the CFSB Center," Chairman and CEO of Pocket's Chuck Baker said. "Murray is our hometown, and every time we reinvest in Murray State, we feel blessed to steward in the growth of the place and the people we love. We can't wait to share a Sammons' Burger and cheer on the Racers to even greater heights. The best is still ahead of us!"
Â
Murray State Athletics is in the midst of an unprecedented era of facility enhancement, with more than $60 million in donor-funded capital projects transforming the future of Racer Athletics including the eight-figure renovation of the CFSB Center.
Â
These strategic investments are modernizing athletic venues and enhancing the student-athlete experience while creating new revenue streams to support future growth.
Â
The department is also capitalizing on the fundraising success to support its donor-funded revenue share model, which is providing critical resources that enhance the department's ability to recruit, retain and support its student-athletes and build out its front office strategies in order to compete for and win championships.
