Murray State women’s soccer gets set for a Sunday postseason matchup with Southern Illinois
After their first-round win over Drake, Murray State women's soccer gets their next challenge from Southern Illinois on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Carbondale, Illinois. The game will be a quarterfinal matchup in the Missouri Valley Conference championships.

Morgan Bodker's late game-winning goal led MSU past Drake in the first round as the Racers reversed their regular season result with the Bulldogs to win 1-0 on Thursday evening. The Racers will need to do the same with the Salukis on Sunday afternoon as SIU took the regular-season matchup 1-0 on October 13 with the goal coming in the form of a penalty kick.

Murray State will look to Saraya Young, Hailey Cole, Sydney Etter, and Lauren Payne to lead their attack as group has combined for 12 goals and 12 assists this season.

Morgan Bodker and Mary Hardy bring an attacking threat from the Racers back line as each of the defenders have three goals this season. Grace Bodker has started all 19 games for MSU this season and has become the primary set-piece taker while stacking up a goal and two assists.
