Racers Serve 146 Hours on Days of Service

Racer student-athletes carried out "Racers Days of Service"
Racers carried out "Racers Days of Service" as part of NCAA Civic Engagement Day efforts.
Racer student-athletes served through three days in eight organizations, totaling up to 146 hours of service.
They spent time reading books, assisting, playing games, and many more at the Journey Church, Kenlake State Park, Murray- Calloway County Animal Shelter, Murray- Calloway County Need Line, Murray- Calloway County Parks & Recreation, Murray Elementary School, Spring Creek Health Care and Watch Center.
"It was incredible seeing our student-athletes touching the Murray community in many ways," said Rachael Cuttitta, assistant AD of student-athlete development. "From sorting donations to playing games with individuals with special needs, they brought smiles to faces and relief to organizations."
