Game One – Murray State 13, Toledo 2
The Racer bats exploded for 13 runs with three players collecting multi-hit games. The Racers top four in the order, Logan Braundmeier, Jensen Striegel, Sierra Gilmore and Gracie Osbron drove in all eight of the Racers' RBIs.

In the second inning, Murray State scored five runs on six hits. Striegel picked up her first RBI of the season, lining a single to left to score Chloe Jacque with Braundmeier coming home on the play thanks to an error by the left fielder. Following a Rockets pitching change, Gilmore and Obsron launched back-to-back home runs to make to 6-0.
Toledo got one run back in the bottom half of the inning on a Macey Moore RBI single.
The Racers blew the game open in the third and fourth innings using five Racer hits and two Rocket errors to put up three runs in each to extend their lead to 12-1.
Toledo's Jenna Kroll led off the bottom half of fourth with a solo home run making it 12-2.
Osbron continued the hit parade with her third of the game, with Gilmore scoring on the play to bring it to 13-2.
James tossed the complete, mercy-rule game to earn her first win of the 2022 season. She allowed only three hits during the five-inning affair, striking out six.
