Baseball Hosts Valpo in Four-Game Set

Murray State Will Play Host to Future MVC Foe Valparaiso This Weekend
Murray State (11-4) baseball is set to host Valparaiso for a four-game series starting on Friday at 3 pm at Johnny Reagan Field in Murray, Kentucky. The Racers have started the campaign 11-4 while staying undefeated at home thus far after winning 10-2 over North Alabama on Wednesday.Â

The Murray State offense is led by graduate second baseman Jordan Holly who is batting .359 on the year. Shortstop Drew Vogel leads the team in doubles (6) while outfielder Seth Gardner leads the Racers in RBIs (20). In the bullpen, MSU has six arms that sport a 2.70 ERA or lower with Jacob Pennington leading the arsenal with 15.2 innings and an impressive 1.15 ERA.Â
