Baseball Falls in Road Game with North Alabama

Murray State (18-18) baseball fell to North Alabama 6-4 on Tuesday night at Mike Lane Field in Florence, Alabama. The Racers were able to generate four hits in the game but were unable to withstand the Lions bats.Â
Bryson Bloomer smacked his team-leading sixth home run of the season in the contest and collected two RBIs. Outfielder Seth Gardner drove a two-RBI double for his seventh two-bagger of the year.
Alec Whaley tossed 1.2 scoreless innings in relief for his 16th appearance of the season. The right-hander struck out two and allowed no walks and no hits in the outing.
Game Notes
The Racers return to OVC play this weekend for a three-game swing with Eastern Illinois.
