MSU student athletes reflect on spring 2021, fall/winter 2021-22 seasons
The Murray State athletic department honored its own Monday night with the annual Student-Athlete Banquet at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky.
Student-athletes and coaches from all 15 sports, as well as staff and university administrators gathered Monday to fellowship and reflect on the spring 2021 and the fall and winter 2021-22 seasons.
After dinner, Chi Alpha Sigma inductees, student-athletes that had a 4.0 in the above-mentioned semesters and All-OVC winners were recognized before the main event of the evening, the awards presentations.
All nominees were nominated by coaches across seven different categories. The evening ended with a touching tribute to a true Racer legend, head women's golf coach Velvet Milkman, who was the recipient of the inaugural Racer Lifetime Achievement award. Below are all award winners from the evening.
