Freshmen Mary Hardy and Tori Schrimpf each put a shot on goal in 2-0 defeat against Cincinnati
Freshmen Mary Hardy and Tori Schrimpf highlighted the day for Murray State women's soccer in a 2-0 defeat against Cincinnati on Sunday in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pair were able to combine for two of the Racers three shots on goal in the match.

Senior midfielder Grace Bodker put up the third shot on target for MSU to round out the offensive attempts on the day.

Goalkeeper Jenna Villacres scooped up four saves while facing 12 Bearcat shots. The Racers six corner kicks on the day compared to UC's five.

The Racers will take on a familiar face in UT Martin their next time out on September 4. MSU leads the all-time series over the Skyhawks 16-6-3, kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
