Already a big part of supporting Murray State Athletics, the Racer Club adds a new way to give.
Murray State Athletics announced a new level of giving for the Racer Club.
'The Stables' is a new $50 giving level that will impact Racer student-athletes in a way that will increase participation for those Murray State fans that have never been a part of the Racer Club before.
Fans are encouraged to join 'The Stables' during the Murray State Athletics Day of Giving on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
"This is a vital period that we are in," Assistant AD for Development Taylor Mudd said. "As we continue to grow the Racer Club, our ability to provide championship-level resources to our athletic programs and student-athletes also grows. The
addition of "The Stables" giving level will allow any member of Racer Nation to make a big impact on the successes of our student-athletes for as little as $50."
Christian Barnes, the University's Director of Donor Engagement and Communications, shares his excitement for the creativity behind the installment of 'The Stables' giving level.
"I am ecstatic that Racer Athletics is taking this step to provide our community of avid fans and donors this additional opportunity to support our storied athletic programs. As we launch a special edition of our 'Racers Give' campaign (09/17 - 09/24), we invite Racer fans from across the country to join in this new effort and find your passion by making a gift at give.murraystate.edu."
The Racer Club promotes and supports athletics through private gifts/resources to provide a first-class student-athlete experience. The Racer Club has seen unprecedented growth over the last three years, bringing in over $1,000,000 annually. These funds provided through numerous Racer Club initiatives fuel all 15 Murray State Athletics programs. In addition, Racer Club support facilitates capital facility projects and many enhancements critical to our collective success.
