Racers Welcome Indiana State for Thursday Clash

Murray State women’s soccer hosts the Sycomores on Thursday at 3 p.m. in their third MVC game of the season
Following their first shutout of the year against Evansville Murray State women's soccer is set to host Indiana State at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Cutchin Field. The Racers defense has shined bright over the last two weeks with a clean sheet in their last time out and goalkeeper Jenna Villacres impressing with 12 saves against Oklahoma on September 18.

The Racers continue the hunt for the first Missouri Valley Conference win after a scoreless draw in their last time out.

Morgan Bodker continues to lead Murray State in goals this season scoring 25 percent of the MSU goals. Junior midfielder Hailey Cole has impressed throughout the campaign with a goal and two assists and recently dished out her 10th career assist.

The freshmen duo of Mary Hardy and Sydney Etter continue to play a key role for Murray State with Hardy having a goal and an assist while Etter has distributed two assists in her debut season.
