After their win over Indiana State, Murray State hosts UIC for second straight home match

Following their first conference win of the year against Indiana State, Murray State women's soccer is set to host Illinois-Chicago at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Cutchin Field. The Racers picked up their first Missouri Valley Conference win in dramatic fashion with an own goal and two goals from Mary Hardy and Sydney Etter all in the last 13 minutes of the match against Indiana State. MSU now sits at 1-1-1 in MVC play.

Morgan Bodker and Hardy lead Murray State in goals this season scoring 2 goals each. Etter collected her first career goal the last time out while also distributing two assists on the year.

Junior defender Audrey Henry picked up her second assist of the season on the game-winning goal against the Sycamores.

Scouting Report

UIC comes to Cutchin Field with a 1-5-3 record overall and an MVC record of 1-1-1. The Flames picked up a win over Illinois State while taking a draw against Belmont the last time out.

The Flames have scored four goals coming from four different players as Megan Bowman leads the team in points with the team's lone assist on the year to go with a goal.

Lauren Kaiser leads the goalkeeping effort for the squad with 29 saves in 630 minutes between the posts.
