Miller Named MVC Defensive Player of the Week

Dahlia Miller was named MVC Defensive Player of the Week after posting 40 digs at Valpo.

Murray State volleyball's Dahlia Miller is named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference today.

Miller earned her honors after a phenomenal defensive display this past weekend. She made 40 digs to contribute to the Racers' comeback win at Valparaiso.

The Pearland, Texas native made 63 digs through the weekend to average seven per set. Her 40-dig performance is the eighth most digs made in a five-set match in the NCAA this season.

The Racers will be back at home for one last weekend when they host Missouri State and SIU, Friday and Saturday.
