
Racers Triumph Over Bears, Take Fifth MVC Win

Murray State volleyball take four-set win at Missouri State to move up to fourth on the MVC standings.
In A Nutshell
Murray State volleyball takes down Missouri State in four sets to earn their fifth win in Missouri Valley Conference play, Saturday.
The Racers were neck and neck with the Bears throughout the first set but were able to a four-point run at the final stretch before winning the set 25-19. The second set started similar to the first, with both teams making scoring runs, but the Racers were able to clinch it with a 5-1 run to win the set 25-20.
Missouri State grabbed the third set dominantly (25-17), but the Racers did not flinch as they secured the fourth set (25-18) and the match.
With the win, the Racers are now 5-2 in conference play and moved up to fourth in the MVC standings.

- Darci Metzger led the Racers' offense with 24 kills, averaging six per set.
- Bailey DeMier made a total of 48 assists to average 12 per set. She also made 20 digs.
