Turner Adds Virginian Two-Way Talent in her Arsenal

Virginia native Jada Cook signs with the Racers.
Murray State women's basketball head coach Rechelle Turner announces the addition of Jada Cook on National Signing Day.

Cook is a 5'9" guard from Roanoke, Virginia. She plays for the Patrick Henry High School Patriots that went to the Virginia High School League championship game in 2021. She was named VHSL First Team All-State.
Â
"Jada is a long and athletic guard, and she should be a game changing defensive presence in our new system while also being an offensive weapon," said Coach Turner.

"She is capable of pushing pace with her speed, having the ability to score with range or finishing at the basket. We are excited to add this explosive two-way talent to our attack. Jada will be a great addition to our Racer family.

Cook will join the Racers in the 2024-25 season.
